Hybrid Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Platform

A 117-step clinical intake, plus schedule generation and specialist booking.

A hybrid digital-physiotherapy and rehabilitation platform for patients, employers and health professionals, designed around automated clinical assessment, personalised treatment schedules and remote specialist access. I designed a six-page, 699-node artifact whose 403-child design page carries a 117-step clinical intake, the diagnosis and schedule-generation loading states, active-treatment and progress screens, and specialist booking, over a 25-child style guide. A UI/UX design credit: no clinical validation, certification or integration is claimed, and the platform's rollout is not something this record establishes.

UI/UX designer for a hybrid digital physiotherapy and clinical rehabilitation platform (403-child Design page in a 6-page, 699-node artifact) architected for patients (B2C), employers (B2B corporate ergonomics and absenteeism reduction), and healthcare practitioners. Designed an automated 117-step clinical assessment decision tree, real-time diagnostic synthesis calculation states (Gerando diagnóstico), automated rehabilitation schedule generation (Gerando cronograma), active treatment trackers, remote specialist booking, and a clinical design system with specialized icons for eight physiotherapy fields.

Agency engagement at Sagitta delivering up to May 6, 2024. The platform was conceived to bridge digital and physical clinical therapy ('Fisioterapia híbrida: o melhor de dois mundos'), combining self-guided rehabilitation protocols with teleconsultation access to certified physical therapists. Juan was the UI/UX designer within a multidisciplinary team alongside engineering.

Digital musculoskeletal care requires careful triage. Self-directed exercises without proper clinical evaluation risk worsening patient injuries, while clinic visits present geographical and scheduling hurdles. Intellive was designed around a hybrid philosophy: automating initial clinical symptom mapping while keeping certified physical therapists in the loop for complex diagnoses and teleconsultation oversight.

The 117-step clinical assessment and dynamic diagnosis engine

The core of the patient onboarding experience is an automated 117-step clinical questionnaire (Questionário 1 through Questionário 117). Rather than using static survey forms, the intake maps pain locations, symptom duration, movement limitations, previous surgeries, and ergonomic work habits. Upon completion, the interface guides the patient through dynamic synthesis states:

  • Diagnostic Synthesis Loading States — Dedicated calculation screens (Gerando diagnóstico and Gerando diagnóstico - Mobile) providing animated visual feedback while clinical logic compiles symptom clusters.
  • Automated Schedule Generation — Multi-stage loading states (Gerando cronograma) synthesizing diagnostic findings into personalized multi-week exercise sequences.
  • Active Rehabilitation Dashboard — Central patient management hub (Meus tratamentos and Perfil Paciente-ativo) displaying prescribed daily therapy videos, posture correction drills, and pain score logs.
  • Teleconsultation and Specialist Booking — Remote appointment booking modal (Consultar um especialista, node 4812:13296) and physician profile views (Doctor) connecting patients directly to physical therapists for manual intervention.

Clinical taxonomy: 8 physiotherapy specialty component sets

In the 25-child Style Guide, I engineered 16 specialized component sets. This included a bespoke medical taxonomy across eight distinct physical therapy disciplines: Ortopédico (orthopedic rehabilitation), Pélvico (pelvic floor therapy), Reativo (post-trauma acute recovery), Preventivo (ergonomic injury prevention), Neuro (neurological rehabilitation), Cardio (cardiovascular conditioning), Respiratório (respiratory physiotherapy), and Cirurgia (pre/post-surgical recovery). Each specialty carries customized vector icon sets and clinical color indicators.

Multi-audience positioning: B2C patient, B2B corporate, and clinician

Intellive operated on a three-tier business model reflected directly in the component architecture. On the Landing Page (4794:12124), dedicated card components articulated value propositions for three distinct audiences: CardSlidePaciente (at-home recovery for individuals), CardSlideEmpresa (corporate health programs targeting repetitive strain injury LER/DORT and workplace absenteeism reduction), and CardSlideProfissionais (clinical SaaS tools for independent physiotherapists).

In digital health, interface clarity directly affects clinical compliance. If an intake questionnaire feels clinical without feeling intimidating, patients finish their assessments and commit to rehabilitation.

Evidence

The platform was built and launched into production. The venture subsequently ceased commercial activities, and intellive.com.br is defunct. No clinical or business metrics exist; this project stands as audited evidence of high-complexity clinical decision trees, dynamic treatment generators, and multi-audience healthcare UI design.
