Cashback Platform — Mobile Experience
Onboarding, account security and the Pix flow, designed for two phone sizes.
A cashback and financial-rewards platform that began as a client-built Bubble deployment and was extended into structured product interfaces. I designed the whole mobile page — 46 children across iPhone SE and iPhone 13 mini — covering onboarding and registration with postcode lookup, the account and security surface including a change-password modal, and the Pix transaction flow with its confirmation state. The mobile experience is the scope: the original build and the desktop CRM are other people's.

UI Designer for the dedicated Mobile Experience of MinaCash, a financial rewards and cashback platform. Sole designer responsible for the 46-node Mobile page (node 87:22642 in Figma file wpp9WlwEfw21dmgfwaaAOp), adapting an existing desktop and Bubble web application into a tailored, smartphone-optimized interface. Authored user onboarding flows with automated postal code lookup (buscarCEP), account profile and security controls with password reset modals, and the instant Pix cash-out withdrawal sequence with modal confirmation states across iPhone SE and iPhone 13 mini viewports.
Agency engagement at Sagitta concluding on May 27, 2024. The client had originally developed and deployed an initial MVP on Bubble before engaging Sagitta to professionalize and expand the platform. Viviane Batista (Vivi) designed the earlier desktop CRM and licensee management screens (90 children on the Desktop page, predating Juan). Juan was brought in specifically to own the mobile product experience.
Mobile adaptation vs. responsive desktop scaling
- 46
- mobile canvas nodes on the dedicated Mobile page
- 2
- constrained viewports targeted (iPhone SE & iPhone 13 mini)
- 3
- core mobile flows (Onboarding, Account Security, Pix Cashout)
- 100%
- dedicated mobile adaptation, not responsive CSS squishing
A frequent mistake in software design is treating mobile as simply a narrowed desktop layout—compressing dense data tables, hamburger-menus, and desktop form modals into narrow viewports. MinaCash had a dense desktop CRM with multi-column financial statements and licensee management tables created by Viviane Batista. When consumers requested access to check rewards and withdraw cashback on their phones, shrinking the desktop screens was not an option. My mandate was to create a dedicated mobile experience tailored to handheld interaction patterns.
Screen architecture across the 46 mobile nodes
On the dedicated Mobile page (node 87:22642), I designed 46 distinct screens and reusable states, prioritizing the compact 375pt viewport of the iPhone SE series (screens 19 to 47) and iPhone 13 mini (screens 1 and 2):
- Streamlined Onboarding & CEP Auto-Fill — Simplified the sign-up funnel into focused single-column steps (Telas iniciais, Cadastro), integrating Brazilian postal code lookup (buscarCEP and button_cep) to auto-populate neighborhood, city, and state, drastically reducing mobile keyboard fatigue.
- Account Management & Security Controls — Designed the Minha Conta profile view and an interactive change-password modal (Pop-up Alterar Senha), ensuring account credentials and security preferences could be updated without navigating away from the dashboard.
- Pix Cashback Redemption Engine — Designed the end-to-end withdrawal flow, where users input their Pix key, view instantaneous transfer simulation, and confirm via a dedicated confirmation modal (Pop-up Pix and Pop-up Confirmação Pix), providing absolute certainty before financial dispatch.
- Ergonomic Touch Targets — Rebuilt table-based rewards records into tap-friendly list cards with clear financial badges, thumb-zone primary actions, and bottom-aligned modal triggers.
Never say Juan designed MinaCash. He designed its mobile experience. Never cite this as responsive design: it is a dedicated mobile adaptation of an existing desktop product—a different and separately sellable competency.
The discipline of designing for the iPhone SE constraint
Designing for modern 430px iPhone Pro Max displays allows for lazy spacing decisions. Designing for the 375x667px iPhone SE requires genuine discipline: every pixel of vertical real estate matters when the virtual keyboard occupies half the display. By calibrating MinaCash's mobile flows to the SE form factor, I ensured that confirmation dialogs, input labels, and CTA buttons remained comfortably within the active viewport without awkward scroll bouncing.
What this project is and is not
- Not the full MinaCash product. I did not design the desktop platform, licensee management, or partner CRM; Viviane Batista designed those screens prior to my involvement.
- Not the original Bubble build. The client initially developed and deployed their product on Bubble prior to hiring the agency.
- Not simple responsive design. This was a ground-up mobile adaptation of existing product functionality, created on a dedicated Mobile canvas page.
- Not user research or discovery. Requirements and project parameters were scoped by Ramon.
- Not supported by financial metrics. No cashback transaction figures or user adoption counts exist in the record.
The power of dedicated mobile product design
MinaCash highlights how existing desktop SaaS applications can be successfully brought to mobile users without compromise. By re-architecting complex registration, security, and Pix withdrawal workflows into an ergonomic mobile experience, the design delivered a fast, reliable, and accessible interface for consumer cashback redemption.
Evidence
The mobile application experience was implemented and shipped to production at minacash.com.br, reflecting the mobile interface created by Juan. No business or cashback volume metrics exist. This case study documents mobile adaptation of existing SaaS platforms, ergonomic small-screen design, and instant transaction UX.
