Two-Sided Recruitment Platform — UI Across Three Role Surfaces
The complete interface for candidates, employers and admins, from a supplied spec.
Main UI designer on a two-sided recruitment platform: candidate auth, multi-step registration, job discovery with filters and empty states, application tracking, the employer pipeline, and the admin back office — 230 children on desktop and 16 on mobile. I designed the interface for the technical-fit scoring and its four explainer modals; the scoring itself, the requirements and the brand were other people's work.

Two-sided recruitment platform connecting job seekers (Candidatos) with hiring organizations (Empresas), backed by a centralized administrative operations suite (Admin). 230 screen nodes on Desktop and 16 on Mobile across eight Figma pages, including candidate discovery with edge-case handling, an employer hiring pipeline with a 3-step vacancy wizard and Kanban board, technical fit scoring (IAT) with four explanatory modals, and Brazilian checkout across Card, Pix, and Boleto.
Agency employment at Sagitta; the client relationship belonged to the agency. Clear team split: Ramon (tech lead) led UX discovery workshops, client meetings, and functional requirements; Kelvin Bezerra created the brand identity and original logo. As Main UI Designer, I authored the complete interface across all three role surfaces, designed the custom domain components on an Untitled UI foundation, and adapted mobile onboarding flows. Documented across October and November 2024.
A three-surface recruitment marketplace
- 230
- desktop interface frames across three surfaces
- 16
- mobile onboarding & auth screen flows
- 3
- distinct user roles (Candidate, Company, Admin)
- 3
- Brazilian payment rails (Card, Pix, Boleto)
Recruitment marketplaces require balancing two competing behavioral modes: candidates experiencing high anxiety who need effortless discovery and unambiguous status feedback, and employers needing rapid candidate triage, structured technical screening, and straightforward subscription billing.
The Candidate surface: discovery, tracking, and divergence modals
The candidate workspace (13043:2393) provides clear, stress-free vacancy exploration and application management:
- Authentication and Progressive Onboarding — Multi-step registration (cadastro stages 1–4), professional credential setup (Cadastro Profissional), and robust password recovery flows.
- Job Discovery with Zero-Result Safety — Advanced search with role, salary, and location filters, full job detail sheets, empty filter states, and saved job alert configurations (Alerta de vagas).
- Application Pipeline and History — Dedicated tracking (Minhas Vagas) keeping job seekers informed of their status at each hiring stage.
- Comprehensive Modal and Error States — Designed edge paths including first-access notices (popupCandidatura/primeiroAcesso), application success, divergence warnings (popupCandidatura/divergência), and violation reporting (denunciar / denunciarSucesso).
The Employer surface: 3-step wizard, Kanban, and IAT scoring
The employer environment (13014:1756) structures talent acquisition from vacancy publishing through technical assessment to paid plan checkout:
- Three-Step Vacancy Creation Wizard — Structured posting flow (Nova vaga 1, 2, 3) capturing role requisites, compensation brackets, and prerequisite technical competencies.
- Candidate Kanban Pipeline — Visual applicant tracking board (cardKanban) enabling recruitment teams to advance prospects through interview stages.
- IAT Technical Fit Scoring Interface — UI representation of the platform's proprietary Índice de Aderência Técnica, backed by four dedicated explainer modals (aderênciaAjuda, concorrênciaAjuda, médiaAjuda, popupFitcultural) ensuring recruiters understand how composite scores are derived.
- Full Brazilian Payment Checkout — Commercial subscription purchase UI supporting credit card (Cartão 1–2), instant Pix with dynamic QR codes (Pix 1–2), and bank slip (Boleto 1–2), complete with retry and confirmation states.
The Admin back office: platform control and broadcast tools
The administrative surface (5325:11592) equips platform operators with macro management tools:
- Centralized Entity Management — Dedicated management interfaces with detail modals for registered companies (gerenciamentoEmpresa), candidates (gerenciamentoCandidato), job categories, subscription plans (gerenciamentoPlanos), and admin staff.
- Mass Notification Dispatcher — Multi-channel broadcast tool allowing single selection, bulk selection, mass resend (Reenvio em massa), and historical audit logging (Histórico de notificações).
- Content and Support Administration — Full modal CRUD for system-wide FAQs (FAQ - Adicionar, Editar, Deletar dúvida) with success confirmations.
Production reality: the live site and the logo swap
The design was delivered to Sagitta's development team and shipped to production at atuavaga.com.br. Following deployment, the client swapped Kelvin Bezerra's brand mark on the live site for an unrefined logo variation. This occurrence underscores an essential portfolio standard: the live URL serves as incontrovertible proof of deployment, but the Figma file represents the authentic visual craftsmanship.
When a client alters brand assets post-handover, the live URL remains proof that the system shipped, but the design file stands as the true record of craft and architecture.
Evidence
Shipped to production and publicly accessible at atuavaga.com.br, serving the candidate and employer onboarding flows designed in this file. The client subsequently replaced Kelvin Bezerra's original logo with an inferior version on the live site; consequently, the live URL serves strictly as proof of shipping, while the Figma file remains the definitive benchmark for design craft. No hiring or placement volume metrics are claimed.
